No Scissors!

You are spending the night with me tonight because your Mommy has to work late.
Remind me to tell you about the spaghetti story in the bathroom. Aunt Cathy said I shouldn't post it & Uncle Tom went so far as to say I should never repeat it again. I think you are cute.
We had a great time in the bath. You are very bad about putting things in your nose! You have bath crayons. As you were getting out you started saying help, help. I looked & you had blue crayon around your nose. Then you were saying, get it, get it. I looked & sure enough you had put a little piece of it up your nose. I tried to get it out but couldn't. I finally laid you on my lap & very carefully tried to get it with tweezers. You didn't like that one little bit! You told me NO scissors! They just kind of smushed it anyway. I guess you will live:)
I laid you in my bed to go to sleep. I read you a story. Like always you said 'nother story. You weren't happy when I told you that was all, but you accepted it. We were lying there with you wiggling around. Finally, you said "hold you". What you really meant was you wanted me to hold you:) You are so sweet! When you say things like that my heart just melts.
All my love,

This Face

It's been a long time O Baby! Even though I haven't written I have continued to pay for this site so one day you will know that at least for a time I kept up with the writing. I can't believe how you have grown & developed. You contiually amaze me. You keep me & everyone else in stitches. Except for Aunt Cathy's Chris, I have never known a child to talk as well as you do at such a young age.
You are spending the night with me tonight. I was trying to put you into your jammies. You didn't want to put the shirt on. (You really are a nature boy at heart:) You ran from me. That seems to be a bad habit that we haven't figured out how to stop yet. I went for you & told you you were making bad decisions. I said you had to go to bed to think about it and to think about making better decisions. You stayed there about 30 seconds. Then you called to me & said "good sicions" I said okay lets put your jammies on. You promptly took off up the hall again. I went after you once again. As soon as you saw me you said "this face, this face"! Of course this all came from your Aunt Cathy. You just spent some time with her & she came up with having you think about making better "sicions". When you do something she doesn't like she puts on a mad face & says, "Look at this face. Is this a happy face?" Which brings me back to tonight. You knew that I wasn't happy when you ran from me again. So, before I could say, look at this face, you said it to me! Sometimes I have to pretend to be mad at you when I really just want to laugh. I love you so much!
All my love,
Grammy
PS You had been eating chocolate ice cream & also sticking markers up you nose just before this pic was taken. I love "This Face"
