Thank goodness you didn't wake up until around 8am today. You woke up crying in the middle of the night again and I put you in bed with me. You are a little hard to sleep with. You must be playing football in your sleep because you are all over the bed!
Aunt Cathy, Uncle T, and I went to Cracker Barrel with you for breakfast. You didn't much like the grits but you loved their biscuits. You spit the eggs out again. What's the deal? Have you decided you don't like eggs? You used to love them. Your Mommy did that too though. When she was little she would love something and then all of a sudden she wouldn't eat it any more. One time when she was on her spaghetti kick, she was half way through a plate of it when she announced "I non't yike it". I told her she loves it. Wrong again!
Aunt Cathy found one of the Taco Bell dogs that talk (they were popular a few years ago) This one says, "Here lizard lizard lizard." We have been playing with it around you since we have been here. This morning Aunt Cathy looked at you and said, "Here lizard lizard lizard." You looked at her and said it right back as plain as day!! Aunt Cathy and I stared at each other in amazement. We couldn't believe you did that. Of course you wouldn't do it again no matter what we did. Stinker.
We loaded up the truck and went back to Uncle Tom's. The tarp we had over the furniture split up the middle after about 30 min. Of course, it started to rain then. Traffic was at a standstill. We finally made it back to Tom's. I hope the furniture dries out.
While we unloaded things you went to Grandpa Bob's office and stayed with him. He said you all had a good time. You were going to have dinner with him but he thought we should get on the road before the weather gets bad.
We did. I was so tired. I didn't drive but a couple of hours before I gave up. You had been sleeping. I was so afraid that you wouldn't go back to sleep after I got you out of the car. I couldn't carry you and your porta crib too. Oh joy, this means I have to sleep with you again:) I said a little prayer. I got you in the motel room. I made a bottle. I turned out all the lights and we got in bed. When you finished your bottle you went right to sleep! I was so happy. Thank you.
All my love,
Grandmommy
